We had a great time photographing Francesca at a beach in La Jolla.
California is full of amazing beaches and La Jolla has some of the most beautiful beaches around.

Awesome shots Terry! That last shot with Francesca in the car, can I ask you how you did the lighting on it? The lighting is just perfect, balancing the fill with the sunset light! Fantastic job!

ReplyDeleteIt was pretty windy and we were moving fast, so I had Mary Ann hold up a 30" Lastolite try-grip diffuser and fire a flash trough it. Flash was set at 1/4 power at a distance of about 10 feet from subject front/left. An umbrella on a stand would have blown away and I wanted softer light than a bare flash would have produced. Also had a 1/4 cut CTO warming filter on the flash to match ambient light a bit better.
